Robert C. Staaf Jr., 70, of Mars died Monday afternoon at UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.

Born in Butler, Dec. 31, 1946, he was the son of the late Robert C. and Madelynn (Wilson) Staaf Sr.

Bob had been an airline mechanic for US Airways.

Surviving are a son, Robert Staaf; his sister, Annetta Setzenfand of Gibsonia; three nephews, Dale, John and Jeff Setzenfand; two aunts, Helen Logan of Butler and Betty Staaf of Georgia; and also his cousins.
