Porter

Kenneth J. Porter, 91, of Valencia, Middlesex Township, passed away in the comfort of his home on Thursday afternoon, Sept. 1, 2022.

Born in Marietta, Ohio, on Oct. 30, 1930, he was the son of the late Kenneth Gale and Lorena June McGregor Porter.

Ken had been a carpenter in the Carpenters Union.

He had served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

He was a member of LifePointe Alliance Church in Mars.

Surviving are his wife, Patricia C. Blackburn Porter, whom he married on April 3, 1954; two sons, Kenneth Porter and his wife, RoxAnne, of Dallas, W.Va., and Kevin Porter of Middlesex Township; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Dolores Porter, Kathryn Himes and Wanda Andrews; and by his brother, Larry Porter.

PORTER — Service and burial for Kenneth J. Porter, who died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2022, will be held privately in Middlesex Methodist Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars.
