Tint World offers customized car services
Vernon Wise IV has been into cars since he was a child, and now he gets the chance to work with them everyday.
“My family loved horses, and I loved horse power,” Wise said.
After spending about 10 years with the Butler Eagle and numerous years selling insurance, Wise recently stepped into the car customization field, and is now a franchise owner of Tint World in Cranberry Township.
“Cranberry is my only physical location, but I would like to open another one in about two to three years,” Wise said.
Tint World was started in 1982 and currently has over 100 locations across the United States and Canada.
Wise opened his Tint World location July 5, and said he had gained a lot of experience working for Exoticars out of Wexford.
“The community is real happy they don't have to drive far to get custom work done to their vehicles. They can just bring it here, drop it off and pick it up at the end of the day,” Wise said.
Tint World offers a wide selection of car customization products and services, such as details, paint protection, lighting products and customized wheels.
“For the most part, people have been using us for window film and PPF, which is Paint Protection Film,” Wise said. “We also do audio installations and can do anything that involves customization. The franchise wants to call it a car boutique. We do full details as well.”
Tint World has the ability to take some of its car customization services into people’s homes, offering residential window tinting, ceramic coating, and safety and security window film.
Wise said he is pleased with the way the locals have welcomed his business into the Cranberry community, which he has seen develop over the years.
“I just saw the community grow as a kid, and people move out here, and eventually one day I wanted to open a business out here,” Wise said. “The community has been very kind and helpful. We are right across from the police station, and those guys have been great, too. All in all, it just feels family-oriented.”
Tint World is at 790 Commerce Drive in Cranberry Township and is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays.
