The performing arts series presents “Holidays from Around the World” with the Pittsburgh Philharmonic at 8 p.m. Dec. 9 in the Succop Theater. Tickets are $18 in advance or $22 at the door; students pay $10.

• Neil Berg's “Broadway Holiday” comes to Miller Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Broadway veterans will perform seasonal favorites. SRU freshman Kayleigh Walsh, who graduated from the Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School, has been chosen to participate in the show. Tickets are $22 for adults; $20 for senior citizens and youths younger than 18; and $8 for SRU students. Reserve tickets by calling 724-738-2018.• SRU dance majors will present original choreography at four fall dance concerts Saturday and Sunday in Swope Recital Hall. Students will present works in modern, jazz, hip-hop and classical Indian dance genres at 2 and 5 p.m. Saturday and at noon and 3 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $3 for SRU students and $5 for the public. Tickets are available at the University Union information desk, at the door, or by calling 724-738-2036.

The Chapel Choir, Chamber Singers and Touring Choir will present the Christmas Choral Concert at 6:30 p.m. Sunday in Harbison Chapel. The performance is free.• The fall production by Orchesis Dance Troupe at GCC will take audiences through a range of songs in “Orchesis Loves New York.”The performance will feature nearly 100 students and will showcase varying dancing styles, including tap, jazz, ballet, hip-hop, modern, contemporary and Irish.Performances are at 7:30 p.m. today and Friday, as well as at 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, all in Ketler Auditorium of the Pew Fine Arts Center on campus.The show is free, but tickets are required.
