Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre finishes out the Hillman Performing Arts Series with a performance Saturday that features the music of Bruce Springsteen as well as George and Ira Gershwin.

PITTSBURGH — The Hillman Performing Arts Series will conclude its season with a two-for-one performance by the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Hillman Center for Performing Arts at Shady Side Academy Senior School, 423 Fox Chapel Road.

The PBT dancers bring the music of Bruce Springsteen with them in “Hungry Heart,” a revival featuring eight Springsteen songs. The audience will recognize favorite tunes such as “Darkness on the Edge of Town,” “Secret Garden” and “Dancing in the Dark”.

After that, the melodies of George and Ira Gershwin keep things swingin’ in “Shall We Dance.” The performance is a mix of duets and ensemble numbers set to Gershwin selections such as “Someone to Watch Over Me,” “S’Wonderful” and “I Got Rhythm.”
