Joan D. Hutzley

Joan D. Hutzley, 65, of Butler passed away Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born Aug. 14, 1955, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late John E. Koenig and Dorothy (Shaw) Koenig.

Joan was a member of North Street Christian Church.

She loved nature, growing her own herbs, produce and flowers, which she sold to local markets. She loved cooking for her family, and will be dearly missed by her family, friends and her pets.

Surviving are her husband, James Hutzley; two sons, Joshua Hutzley of Butler, and Justin (Katrina) Hutzley of Bethel Park; a grandson, Henry James Hall Hutzley; a sister, Diane Rugg of Hilliards; and two brothers, Douglas Koenig of New Jersey, and Jeffrey Koenig of Beaver Falls.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

HUTZLEY — A memorial service for Joan D. Hutzley, who died Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020, will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Young Funeral Home, Butler.
