Margaret K. Urish, 89, of 181 Medical Center Road, Chicora, formerly of Osceola Mills in Clearfield County, died at 7:50 a.m. Wednesday at Whispering Acres Personal Care Home, Chicora.

Born Aug. 19, 1918, in Osceola Mills, she was the daughter of Alex and Mary Bagrosky Scovern.

She was a homemaker and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Osceola Mills.

Surviving are a daughter, Susan Bell and her husband, Drew, of Chicora; three sons, Joseph A. Urish and his wife, Colleen, of Butler, Gerald Urish and his wife, Cherre, of Grassflat, Clearfield County, and John Urish and his wife, Marian, of Rossiter, Indiana County; five grandchildren, Christa Feola, Carrie Ulizio, Jessica Shimmel and Jennifer and Brittany Urish; and four great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are four sisters, Betty Kahler of Forest Hill, Md., and Francis and Jane Scovern and Mary Kay Housley and her husband, William, all of Philipsburg, Centre County; and two brothers, William Scovern of Westerville, Ohio, and James Scovern and his wife, Connie, of Sandy Ridge, Centre County.

Her husband, Joseph W. Urish, whom she married July 9, 1947, in Allentown, died Jan. 18, 2001. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Grace Miller, and a brother, John Scovern.

<B>URISH </B>— Friends of Margaret K. Urish, who died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007, will be received from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at <B>Heath Funeral Home</B>, 701 Lingle St., Osceola Mills. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at noon Saturday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Osceola Mills, with Monsignor H. Desmond McGee officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Osceola Mills.The rosary will be recited at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
