Nancy Jane Miller

Nancy Jane Miller, 95, formerly of Conneaut Lake, Pa., passed away Nov. 6 at the Concordia Lutheran Ministries, where she lived for the past three years.

She was born June 10, 1920, in Pittsburgh to the late William J. Pugh and Anna May (McKibbin) Pugh.

Mrs. Miller was a telephone operator before her marriage. Then she was a homemaker. She was member of the High Street Community Church in Conneaut Lake.

Mrs. Miller's interests were sports, church, God and family. She played golf and tennis and won championships in both. Mrs. Miller enjoyed watching TV golf and tennis. She was a major football fan of the Steelers and her husband's South High School in Pittsburgh.

Mrs. Miller is survived by four daughters, Sue Ann Miller of West Palm Beach, Fla., Pamela Hannah Miller of Denver, Colo., Glenda Joy Radicella of New Castle and Barbara May Gade and her husband, Thomas Joseph, of Butler; eight grandchildren, Christine Miller Nyette, Kristen Rae Shepherd, April Marie Radicella, Annalise Sorensen, Heather Michelle Gade, Rachel Elizabeth Chennault, Jessie Emmanuelle Gade and Eden Renee Gade; three great-grandchildren, Isaac Sorensen, Shane Patrick Carroll and Pamela Elizabeth Chennault; three nieces, Shari O'Hara, Linda Ferguson and Joanne Casey; nine nephews, Richard and Robin Wagner, John, Robert, Timothy, David and Thomas Pugh and John and James Menoher.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Franklin Miller, who she married March 9, 1945, and who passed away Aug. 10, 1992; one brother, William J. Pugh Jr.; two sisters, Ann Gordon Wagner and Janet May Menoher; and three nieces, Jani-Rue Burkey, Jaye Lynn Welke and Jacqueline Menoher.

MILLER — Friends of Nancy Jane Miller, who died Friday, Nov. 6, 2015, will be received from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.Funeral service will follow immediately at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dennis Krajacic, pastor of the Community Alliance Church, officiating.Burial will take place at the Jefferson Memorial Cemetery in Pittsburgh.Memorial donations may be made to the High Street Community Church, c/o Building Fund, P.O.
