Kathleen L. Dulya, 65, of Butler died Saturday evening at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born May 24, 1949, in Ambridge, she was a daughter of the late William Young and Irene (Marx) Young.

Kathleen worked in cosmetics at JC Penney, Montgomery Ward, Bon Ton, and also as a merchandiser for various products. Her working career was highlighted by owning her own Merle Norman Cosmetic Studio in Butler.

Outside of her career she enjoyed reading, growing flowers and loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Kathleen had a particular ability to make everyone she talked with feel special. She was a member of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

Surviving is her husband, Andrew S. Dulya, who she married Feb. 4, 1967; three children, Andrew S. (Tricia) Dulya Jr. of Butler, Dianne (Jeff) Fallecker of Prospect and Jim (Lori) Dulya of Pittsburgh; nine grandchildren, Elijah, Ivy, Alydia, Noah, Andrew, Abigail, James, Jacob and Joey; two great-grandchildren, Jaden and ZoeyAnne; and four brothers and sisters, Eileen Kerr, William Young, Yvonne Mazurek and Norman Young, all of Butler.

DULYA — Family and friends of Kathleen L. Dulya, who died Saturday, March 28, 2015, will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.Private funeral services and burial will take place for her family Wednesday.
