Paul A. Kircher
Paul A. Kircher, 83, of Sugar Valley Lane, Parker, Allegheny Township, passed away late Wednesday evening at the VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.
Paul was born Jan. 7, 1932, in Pittsburgh. He was the son of the late John N. and Harriett Baldouf Kircher.
He was a graduate of South High School in Pittsburgh.
He was a longtime member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Emlenton. He was a talented woodworker and enjoyed making various wooden crafts. He was a “family man” and cherished his role as husband, dad and pap.
He was a proud U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, having served for two years in Korea.
He retired following more than 30 years of service with the Dravo Corp. in Pittsburgh.
He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Steimer Kircher. The couple had celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary this past Sunday.
Also surviving are four children, Susan M. Kircher of Hanover, Richard P. Kircher of Pittsburgh, Lori A. Jaczesko and her husband, Tom, of Pittsburgh and Barbara A. Ott of Hanover; three grandchildren, Nicholas, Joshua and Zachary; one brother, Robert “Bob” Kircher of Parker; one sister, Theresa Daschbach of Pittsburgh; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a number of brothers and sisters.

Kircher, who died Wednesday, July 1, 2015, will be received from 10 to 11:45 a.m. Saturday at the Hile Funeral Home, 1204 Kerr Ave., Emlenton.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at noon Saturday at the St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, Chestnut Street, Emlenton, with the Rev. William R. Barron, church pastor, officiating.
