Neal R. Nanna
Neal R. Nanna, 64, of Harmony, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 28, 2022, while surrounded by family.
Born Dec. 19, 1957, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Williard Lee Nanna and Kathleen Roberts Nanna.
Neal was a man devoted to service. He was a proud lifetime member and past chief of the Harmony Volunteer Fire Company. He also was a member of the Connoquenessing Volunteer Fire Company for four years. He was employed with Bakerstown Container Corporation for 25 years. He proudly owned and operated Set It Off Auto in Harmony for 10 years.
An avid outdoorsman, Neal enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He also loved going to the beach. Above all, his biggest joy was being a husband, Dad and Pappy. Neal was a strong, supportive family man, who always put those he loved first. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Neal leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 39 years, Tracie A. Nanna; his sons, Shaun R. (Kelly) Nanna and Michael J. (Jennifer) Nanna; his grandchildren, Jason Collins, Chase Nanna, Morgan Nanna, Dominic Hoffmaster, Vincent Christian Nanna, Anthony Nanna and Giavanna Nanna; his brother, David Nanna; his sister, Lynda (Larry) Weinel; his sisters-in-law, Ruth and Sandy Nanna; his nieces and nephews, Bill Spiegel, Chris Spiegel, Kenneth (Michelle) Nanna, Heather (Tim) Amrhein, Janice (P.J.) King and Barbara Nanna; and his lifelong best friend, Michael (Jean) Hutchison.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Lee W. Nanna and Mark A. Nanna; and his brother-in-law, Sean Christian Riddle.
NANNA — Friends of Neal R. Nanna, who died Sunday, Aug. 28, 2022, will be received from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.
A funeral ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Harmony-Zelienople United Methodist Church, 123 N. Pittsburgh St., Zelienople, with Pastor Jame Price officiating. Friends are asked to please meet at the church.
Neal will be laid to rest at Pinewood Memorial Gardens in Cranberry Township.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Neal’s honor to the Connoquenessing Volunteer Fire Company New Building Fund, P.O Box 242, Connoquenessing, PA 16027.
