Wilbur A. 'Bill' Bayne

Wilbur Alan "Bill" Bayne, 75, of Mars died Sunday afternoon at his home.

Born in Pittsburgh, June 20, 1932, he was the son of Frank and Dorothy Bayne.

He retired from North Pittsburgh Telephone Co., where he worked in the engineering department.

Mr. Bayne was an Army veteran and had served in Korea.

Surviving are his wife, Joan Tindall Bayne, whom he married July 10, 1965; a daughter, Mrs. Cindy Hornyak and her husband Jerry, of Chillicothe, Ohio; a son, Barry Bayne and his wife, Carol, of Mars; a brother, Albert Bayne and his wife, Helen, of Arizona; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Edgar Bayne.

<B>BAYNE</B>— Friends of Wilbur Alan "Bill" Bayne, who died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2007, will be received from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home</B>, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars. A time of sharing will follow at 8:30 p.m. with Alice Miller and Grant Schmid, of the First Church of Christ Scientist of Butler, officiating.
