Mildred E. Shotts

Mildred E. Shotts, 94, of Butler died Monday at the Concordia Lutheran Ministries.

Born March 14, 1922, in Roseville, she was the daughter of John and Mary Relich Haralovich.

From the age of 18, Milly was a housekeeper for priests in Western Pennsylvania. In the 1960s, she went to St. Eusebius Parish in East Brady to care for the Rev. William Maloney. She provided a clean home and warm meals for him for 52 years.

She most recently was member of St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Meridian.

Milly is survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; eight sisters, Diane Haralovich, Martha Haralovich, Dorothy Flannigan, Jennie Harmon, Helen Phillips, Barbara Peterson, Mary Strmac and Ann Relich; and the Rev. William Maloney, who she devoted her life to his care.

Milly's family would like to thank the Concordia Skilled Nursing Unit for the care shown to her. Your kindness will never be forgotten.

SHOTTS — Friends of Mildred E. Shotts, Monday, Dec. 5, 2016, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Buechele Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 707 Kellys Way, East Brady, with a parish prayer service at 7 p.m.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick Church, Bradys Bend with the Rev. John Butler officiating.
