CRANBERRY TWP — The law firm Lynch Weis recently changed its name to The Lynch Law Group to reflect the departure of partner Joe Weis, among others, according to a company news release.

The firm is located in the Cranberry Professional Park and also has a satellite office in Pittsburgh.

The firm's new website is www.lynchlaw-group.com.

Women United, an initiative of the United Way of Butler County, is accepting nominations for the Women United Leadership Award, which will be handed out Oct. 10 during the group's fourth annual Powerful Connections Conference at Slippery Rock University.The award, sponsored by CenturyLink, will be given to a woman who has displayed outstanding leadership, volunteerism, community involvement and mentorship abilities.The Powerful Connections conference will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Robert M. Smith Center.
