Ida Mae Martin, 76, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away Friday.

She was born March 9, 1935, in Butler, the daughter of Ira Leo and Mary (Thomas) White.

Mrs. Martin was a volunteer at Elderly United and taught line dancing in Springfield. She enjoyed line dancing in New Carlisle and Enon, Ohio, and at the Eagles.

She was retired from the Patuxin Naval Base in Maryland and had done demonstrations at Krogers.

She is survived by a daughter, Cyndi (Rodney) and a son, James (Jeanette) Martin, both of Springfield; her grandchildren, Keith Patterson, Sean (Alexis) Steward, Chrissy Martin, Isaiah Martin and Richard Martin; her stepgrandchildren, Candy Patterson and Scott Patterson; her five great-grandchildren; her brothers and sisters, Jennie and Wesley Edwards of Independence, Mo., Ralph White of Howell, N.J., Arlene and Dave Hilles of Butler and Maryellen and Kenny George of Baltimore, Md.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jess S. Martin, in 1974, and her parents.

<B>MARTIN</B> — Funeral services for Ida Mae Martin, who passed away Friday, Jan. 27, 2012 will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the <B>JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME</B> in Springfield, Ohio. There will be one hour of visitation before the services. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
