Henry Trauterman

Henry James Trauterman, 83, of Evans City passed away Sunday while under the care of UPMC Passavant Hospital in McCandless Township.

He was born July 8, 1929, in Harmony, and was the son of the late Henry and Mary Edna (Blair) Trauterman.

Henry’s love for the Lord sustained him throughout his life as a faithful member of the Crestview Community Church in Callery.

He was employed by Johns Manville/BNZ for 37 years. He also enjoyed farming.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Sondra Griffith; his children, Tim Trauterman and his wife, Angel, of Powhatan, Va., Clark Trauterman of Evans City and Valerie Trauterman of Evans City; and his granddaughter, Laura Lyn Trauterman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

TRAUTERMAN — The family of Henry James Trauterman, who passed away Sunday, May 5, 2013, will welcome friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Boylan Funeral Home, 116 E. Main St., Evans City.A funeral ceremony will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Crestview Community Church, 210 Kline Ave., Callery, PA 16024, with the Rev. Robert Goosen officiating.
