Butler County Community College rallied late, but dropped a 73-70 men’s basketball decision to Eastern Gateway Wednesday night.

John Tyler scored 28 points and grabbed 14 rebounds for the Pioneers (0-7) while Butler graduate Cody West had 13 points and five assists. Fellow Golden Tornado grad Jake Hilliard scored 10 points.

Kevin Rummel contributed five assists for BC3. Matt Edwards paced Eastern Gateway with 39 points and 18 rebounds.
