James E. 'Jim' Klink

James E. “Jim” Klink, 72, of Slippery Rock passed away at 7:45 a.m. May 11 at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Jim was born on Jan. 19, 1942, in Grove City, the son of the late Wallace L. Klink and Twila (Snyder) Klink.

Jim was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He worked as a brick mason for Local 9-Western PA until his retirement in 2005.

Jim was a member of the American Legion Post 0220 of Grove City. He enjoyed skiing, fishing and biking.

Jim is survived by his son, Jason Klink and his wife, Melisa, of Charlotte, N.C.; his daughter, Kimberly Fairley and her husband, Chris, of Fairmont, W.Va.; his two grandchildren, Isaiah Fairley and Micah Fairley; his companion, Peggy Black of Fenelton; his two brothers, Gary Klink and his wife, Tina, of Roanoke, Va., and Alan Klink of Butler; his sister, Bonnie Frey of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Klink — There will be no public visitation or service for James E. “Jim” Klink, who passed away Sunday, May 11, 2014.Arrangements are being handled by the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E.
