Joan Piela, 91, of Zelienople, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 25, 2022, while under the care of Rose Crest Assisted Living in Mars.

Born March 18, 1931, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Jack Victor.

She enjoyed winters in Florida and summers in Pymatuning. In her free time, she enjoyed watching the birds eat from her bird feeder, planting flowers and gardening.

Joan leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Sharon (Scott) McKee, Edward J. (Donna) Piela and Kenneth (Leslie) Piela.

In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Piela, who passed away on June 21, 2011; her son, David Piela; and two brothers, Russell Victor and Donald Victor.
