Hanna Mihalek

Hanna Ruth “Ruthie” Mihalek of Slippery Rock passed away Monday at Autumn Grove in Harrisville following an extended illness.

She was born on July 11, 1928, to the late Harold Nale and Hanna Rebecca Williams Nale Carlson.

She was a housekeeper and worked as a waitress for The Camelot Restaurant in Slippery Rock for many years.

She was a member of the Hope Fellowship Church in Slippery Rock.

Survivors include her three daughters, Sharon R. Fleeger, Cynthia Foster and Tina Georgevich, all of Slippery Rock; her four sons, Edward Rieland III of Allison Park, Vincent Mihalek of Slippery Rock, and Mickey and Robert Mihalek, both of Pittsburgh; her 14 grandchildren; and her 22 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Willard Rieland, and her husbands, Edward Rieland Jr. and Edward Mihalek.

Mihalek— Funeral services for Hanna Ruth “Ruthie” Mihalek, who passed away Monday, Jan. 12, 2015, will be private. There will be no public visitation or viewing.Arrangements are by the Smith Funeral Home, Slippery Rock.
