Pirates release schedule for 2023

PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Pirates have released their 2023 schedule, which will include 22 different teams visiting PNC Park as a result of Major League Baseball’s new scheduling format.

The Pirates will open the season March 30 at Cincinnati. The home opener will be April 7 against the Chicago White Sox, marking the first time those two franchises ever began a season against each other.

A-C Valley grad Eaton player to watch

Thel College senior volleyball player Kylee Eaton, an A-C Valley graduate, is on the Presidents’ Athletic Conference Women’s Volleyball Players to Watch list this season.

Eaton led the Tomcats with 31 service aces last season.
