Gary Lee Skal
Gary Lee Skal, 50, of Butler passed away Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017.
He was born June 2, 1966, the son of Edward J. Skal and Stella Paganelli Reddick.
He spent most of his professional career in auto body repair, many years in Louisiana. In his personal life, he enjoyed spending time with his daughters. He loved the wild outdoors and enjoyed cooking both family recipes and Cajun cuisine. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was appreciative of all God's creatures, as evidenced by his pets, be it a snake, tarantula or bat.
He is survived by his parents; two daughters, Amanda Skal of Gulfport, Miss., and Julia Skal of Butler; three brothers, Martin Skal and his wife, Sandra, of Hedgesville, W.Va., John Skal and his wife, Nanette, of Cranberry Township, and Joseph Skal of Butler; one sister, Karen Skal of Butler; his former wife, Jennifer Horner and her daughter, Leanna Horner, of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.
