The Allegheny Drifters, a bluegrass band from the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains, brings four members together to offer an unusual edge to bluegrass music.

Mandolinist Bob Artis and lead singer and guitarist Bernie Cunningham are both alumni of Mac Martin and the Dixie Travelers and have played together for three decades.

Adding to the group, Karen Artis plays the upright bass and sings tenor, high baritone and high lead for the band.

Keith Beaver adds his banjo playing to the group’s bluegrass sound.

The Allegheny Drifters will perform at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Monday at the auditorium pavilion.
