Elizabeth J. Silvester Haley
Elizabeth J. Silvester Haley, 76, of Cranberry Township passed away Sunday at the Wexford House Nursing Center.
Born March 29, 1940, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Alex and Martha Novikov Dumin.
Elizabeth was a member of St. Ferdinand Catholic Church in Cranberry Township. She enjoyed crocheting and baking. Lady locks were her specialty. She loved animals, but above all she adored her grandchildren.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Thomas V. Haley; her daughters, Deborah (Joseph) Candiello of McCandless Township, Kathleen (John) Paytas of New Sewickley Township, Valorie (Scott) Burns of Renfrew and Karen (Brian) King of Zelienople; her grandchildren, Joe and Andrew Candiello, Jessica (Jon) Miller, Steven (Kari) Ehrenfried, Michael (Natalie) Ehrenfried, Scott Jr. and Dan Burns, William (Lindsay) Burns, and Russell and Matthew King; her great-grandchildren, Donovan and Luca Miller and Logan and Gavin Ehrenfried; her brother, Alex (Sandy) Dumin of South Carolina; and her sisters, Nancy Claypool of West Virginia, Kathy Bucsek of Allison Park, Martha (Jim) Brother of McDonald, Sandy Dumin of Shaler and Linda Dumin of Ross Township.
In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her first husband, Eugene “Sil” Silvester; and her brother, Leonard Dumin.

Silvester Haley, who died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017, will welcome friends from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Boylan-Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, 2535 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township.She will be laid to rest at Christ Our Redeemer Cemetery in Ross Township.Memorial contributions may be made in Elizabeth's honor to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
