David A. Sutphin

David A. Sutphin, 67, of Cranberry Township passed away Saturday at UPMC Passavant Hospital.

Born Aug. 12, 1949, in Fairmont, W.Va., he was the son of the late Bernard B. and Betty G. Yost Sutphin.

Dave worked for the Local Union 66 of Operating Engineers, and later at Rowan Road Driving Range. He loved to golf and belonged to the IMBS Golf League. He will be dearly missed.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Linda Short Sutphin, who he married Aug. 24, 1974; his children, Janette Sutphin of Cranberry Township and Edward (Cheryl) Sutphin of Patterson Township; and his three grandchildren, Jade Butler, Emmaline Sutphin and Lillian Sutphin.

SUTPHIN — Friends of David A. Sutphin, who died Saturday, April 22, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Boylan-Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.

A funeral ceremony will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Pinewood Memorial Gardens in Cranberry Township.
