Stella M. Warren, 82, of South Sixth Avenue died suddenly at 4:05 p.m. Saturday in the emergency room of Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born July 7, 1928, in Butler, she was the last surviving family member of the late Joseph J. and Mary (Chuba) Kuciak.

She retired in 1991 from the Butler School District food service department.

Stella is survived by a son, Jack Warren Jr. and his companion, Mary Stauffer, both of Chicora; two daughters, both of Butler, Mrs. Paula Barto and her husband, Douglas, and Mrs. Kathleen Prementine and her husband, Robert; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Stella was preceded in death by her husband, Jack C. Warren Sr. who died Nov. 20, 2007; six brothers; and two sisters.
