Joyce Jardine, 78, of Renfrew, passed away on Aug. 17, 2022, at Allegheny General Hospital.

She was born July 19, 1944, in Beaver County, and was the daughter of the late Joseph Griffith and the late Doris Watson Vandenberg.

Joyce graduated from Beaver Falls High School. She received an associate degree in business from Butler County Community College.

Joyce was a member of Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church, where she was a former head of deacons.

Joyce worked as a salesperson for giftware companies. She enjoyed coloring, artwork, decorating, cooking and traveling.

Joyce is survived by her loving spouse, Robert William "Bill" Jardine, whom she married Nov. 30, 1985; a daughter, Joy McDonald of Lorton, Va.; a brother, Joseph E. Griffith Jr. of New Brighton; and a nephew, Joseph E. Griffith of Beaver Falls.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Griffith and David Griffith.

JARDINE — A celebration of life for Joyce Jardine, who died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2022, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Oak Hills Christian Church, 100 Township Line Road, Butler, with Pastor Rob Gillgrist officiating.

A private burial took place at St. John's Reformed Church Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the direction of THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, Butler.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Deacon Fund, Saint Andrews Presbyterian Church, 201 East Jefferson Street, Butler, PA 16001.
