Brent and Bernadette Francisco

Brent and Bernadette Francisco of Chicora celebrated 50 years of marriage Aug. 19 with a special blessing at a Mass celebrated at Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church in Chicora and a dinner at Clifford’s Restaurant.

Francisco married the former M. Bernadette O'Donnell Aug. 19 ,1972, at Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church in Chicora.

They have two children, Heather Francisco of Medford, Mass., and Lisa Francisco of Jacksonville, Fla.

Francisco is a retiree of Indspec Chemical of Petrolia.

Mrs. Francisco is a homemaker and a 45-year retiree as owner and operator of Francisco's Beauty Shop.

Their favorite hobby is to play golf.
