Judith Carol “Judy” (Oesterling) Fry

Judith Carol “Judy” (Oesterling) Fry, 76, of Butler passed away Friday.

She was born April 11, 1940, in Butler to the late Richard Oesterling and Rosella M. (Osche) Oesterling.

Judy was a kind and loving mother. She enjoyed playing cards and board games with her family, cooking, making fudge for family and friends and baking “The BEST Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies EVER!” Judy liked gardening, canning, watching and feeding the birds and having picnics and bonfires with her family.

She was a member of the Faith Fellowship Alliance Church, where she served as deaconess, greeter and helped with various projects.

Judy will always be remembered by the love and kindness she bestowed upon everyone she met, but most of all her strong belief and faith in the Lord.

She is survived by four sons, Richard J. Fry Jr. of Butler, Mathew P. Fry and his wife, Christine, of Butler, Christian R. Fry of New Castle and Dale A. Fry and his companion, Lynn, of North Washington; two daughters, Belynda “Lyndie” S. Young of Butler and Tracy M. Malinski and her husband, Frank, of Prospect; 15 grandchildren, Melissa (Bauer) Biedenbach and her husband, Tim, Jacob Bauer, Zachary Young, Richelle (Fry) McClean and her husband, Adam, Kayla (Fry) Kerr and her husband, JT, Morgan Malinski, Cory Fry, Kachine Fry, Cody Fry, Stephanie (Fry) Minto and her husband, Larry, Christian “CJ” Fry, Joshua Fry, Hunter Fry, Austin Fry and Chase Fry; eight great-grandchildren, Levi, Haley, Brady, Ariania, Corrine, Abby, Larry Jr. and Brooklyn; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard F. Oesterling Sr. and Robert E. Oesterling; and four sisters, Virginia Walker, Beatrice Reed, Pauline Grossman and Georgia E. Oesterling.

FRY — Friends of Judith Carol “Judy” (Oesterling) Fry, who died Friday, May 13, 2016, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Faith Fellowship Alliance Church, 200 Faith Way-Fared Drive, Butler.A funeral service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Richard Jenks of the Faith Fellowship Alliance Church officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Faith Fellowship Alliance Church Youth Mission Trip, 200 Faith Way-Fared Drive, Butler, PA 16001.Online condolences can be given at www.thompson-miller.com.
