Eileen C. Phillips passed away at the age of 85 on Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2022, with her son, Michael Phillips, and daughter, Michele Phillips, holding her hands. Eileen is now reunited with her mother and father, Anne and William (Bill) Knipp; her sister, Maryanne McKillop; her son, Mark Phillips; and her daughter, Elaine Phillips.

Eileen's life was fortified with her faith, children, family, friends and pets. Eileen always had a funny story, and a relatable experience or stellar advice to give. She donated to several charities.

She was a member of the Community Alliance Church and the Red Hat Society.

She loved watching basketball with her son, Michael. She loved the laughter at her favorite pub with her daughter, Michele; spoiling her dog, Mia; and the love-filled conversations from family and memorable visits with friends. She had an extraordinary group of extended family and friends.

The legacy of Eileen's kind spirit, strength and courage will forever touch our hearts and souls. We have been blessed to have had her in our lives and will continue to be inspired by her virtues.

Eileen is survived by her son, Michael; her daughter, Michele; her granddaughter, Chantel Nicole Phillips-Austin; her great-grandsons, Ezekiel and Ezzera; her grandson, Mark J. Phillips Jr.; her nieces, Janice, Mary Ann (Sissy), Beth and Karen; and her dog, Mia.

PHILLIPS — Services and burial will be private for Eileen C. Phillips, who died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2022.
