John V. “Monk” Schessler Jr., 69, of Ross Township, passed away Friday, Aug. 12, 2022, in the comfort of his home after an extended illness.

Born May 4, 1953, he was the son of the late John V. Schessler Sr. and Margaret Raida Schessler.

He leaves behind his wife, Darlene; his children, Corrie (Jason) Bollinger and James (Erin Stebler) Schessler; and his grandchildren, Nora and Landon Bollinger.

SCHESSLER — Professional services for John V. “Monk” Schessler Jr., who died Friday, Aug. 12, 2022, have been entrusted to D’ALESSANDRO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, Pittsburgh.
