Kowalski

Gertrude H. Kowalski, 87, of Penn Township, Butler County, passed away on Aug. 14, 2022.

She was the beloved wife for 60 years to Robert John Kowalski.

She was the loving mother of Robert (Michelle) Kowalski and Judith Kowalski, and cherished grandmother of Ashleigh Kowalski.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Hajnas.

Gertrude was a wonderful person with a beautiful soul. She was selfless and always put others before herself. God, family and friends were most important to her. She will be dearly missed by those who loved her.

KOWALSKI — The family of Gertrude H. Kowalski, who died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2022, will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Sepulcher Church, 1304 E. Cruikshank Road, Butler.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Holy Sepulcher Church.
