Jog in the Park
BUTLER TWP — Joggers on Friday enjoy the Shaffer Walking Trail at Butler County Community College’s main campus. Asphalt was laid this past week for the one-mile trail, named for E. Bertrum and Esther Shaffer, whose estate donated $334,000 to BC3. According to BC3, the trail will be finished in 2013, complete with benches, landscaping and signs along its route around campus.
