NICOLE REISER (Knoch), a senior on the Pitt-Greensburg women's basketball team, was named Most Valuable Player of the Chatham University Tip-Off Tournament. Reiser scored 15 points and had six assists in a 73-59 win over Chatham in the title game. She averaged 12.5 points, 4.5 assists and 4.5 steals in the tournament.•

MARIA BAROFFIO (Butler), a sophomore on the St. Vincent College women's basketball team, made the all-tournament team of the Courtyard Marriott Invitational at St. John Fisher College in New York. Baroffio averaged 15 points per game in the event, including a game-high 17 Saturday, and is averaging 13.3 points per game on the year.•

MICHAEL SYBERT (Mars), a freshman on the Penn State University tae kwon do team, won the point sparring competition at the PSUCollegiate Tournament recently. He took third place in Olympic-style sparring and third place in forms.•

LAUREN BALMERT (Seneca Valley), a freshman on the Fairfield (Conn.) University women's volleyball team, tallied 32 assists in a 3-0 loss to Siena College in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference title match.
