Norman E. “Tony” Measel

Norman E. “Tony” Measel, 76, of Harmony passed away Monday at the Grove at Harmony.

Born Nov. 27, 1940, in Lancaster Township, he was the son of the late Norman and Mary Blum Measel.

Norman was a dear, sweet fellow who liked to joke around. He retired from Besco Manufacturing in Zelienople.

For most of his life, Norman lived on the family farm and enjoyed watching wildlife, especially deer and turkey. In his free time, he enjoyed mowing the lawn, gardening and doing word searches, but above all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.

He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sisters, Charlene Measel, Norma Jean Measel, Edith Measel and Janet (George) Tweed; two nephews; one niece; five great-nephews; and one great-niece.

MEASEL — A memorial graveside service for Norman E. “Tony” Measel, who died Monday, April 3, 2017, will be conducted by the family later at the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E.
