KITTANNING — The Armstrong County Camp Cadet program is taking applications until Sunday.

The program, sponsored by the state police station in Kittanning, is a weeklong summer camp about law enforcement that is hosted by Lenape Technical School in Manor Township for boys and girls ages 12 to 15.

It will run from July 20 to 25.

ZELIENOPLE — The state Department of Transportation will hold a public meeting and open house June 5 to discuss a proposed Route 68 bridge replacement.The meeting runs from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Zelienople Municipal Building.Residents can stop by anytime to review the plans and give feedback on the replacement of the bridge, which goes over Glade Run.PennDOT requests that anyone with knowledge of historic resources in the area attend the meeting.
