Rita Ann Dischman
Rita Ann Dischman, 73, of Harmony passed away Monday at UPMC Passavant Hospital, McCandless Township.
Born on Oct. 21, 1940, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Thadeus and Rose (Jedynak) Sniadach.
For more than 30 years, Rita proudly and passionately worked as an administrative assistant for the Seneca Valley School District, formerly known as the Southwest Butler School District.
A Catholic by faith, she especially enjoyed cooking, baking, antiquing, and watching movies. Rita took pride in decorating her house and, above all, caring for her family. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her beloved husband of 54 years, David Dischman, who she married on Sept. 19, 1959; two sons, Gregory Dischman of Zelienople and the mother of his children, Elaine Dischman, of Gibsonia, and Douglas Dischman of Harlansburg; two brothers, Thomas Sniadach and his wife, Barbara, of Pittsburgh and Norbert Sniadach and his wife, Janet, of Pittsburgh; six grandchildren, Elisabeth, Theodore, Rebecca, Benjamin, Kasey, and Jeremy Dischman, and a great-grandchild, Avery.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Dischman.
Dischman— The friends of Rita Ann Dischman, who passed away Monday, Aug. 4, 2014, will be received from 2 p.m. until the time of a blessing service at 3 p.m. Friday at the Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home, 219 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, with Father Lawrence R.
