Gloria A. Price, 87, of Butler passed away Thursday at Chicora Medical Center.

She was born Sept. 7, 1931, in Imperial, and was the daughter of the late Martin E. and Maude (McNamee) Dempsey.

She loved animals and enjoyed reading. She traveled the world with her husband.

Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Thomas William Price of Butler; her sister, Jacqueline Wimer of Export; her brother, James Dempsey of Midland, Mich.; and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister; and two brothers.
