The Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival's third annual event celebrating Butler as the birthplace of the Jeep will run June 14 to 16.
The event will feature the Jeep Invasion in downtown Butler on June 14, as well as a new off-road playground, mud pit, rock crawl, trail rides, World War II encampment, history displays and how-to clinics at Cooper's Lake Campground in Worth Township.
Activities will begin at 9 a.m. all three days and close at 4 p.m. June 14, at 5 p.m. June 15 and at 3 p.m. June 16.

There are also individual ride tickets available for $1 each, and rides usually require two or three tickets.

CRANBERRY TWP — “Broadway in the Park” will be staged at 7 p.m. July 11 in the Rotary Amphitheater at Cranberry Community Park as part of Community Days.The production, being put together by Cranberry resident Chris Saunders, will feature an hour of Broadway songs. Area stars of the stage Sarah Bishop, Alison Rose, and Billy Mason will perform.Admission is free. Take a blanket or lawn chair for seating.
PITTSBURGH — The 54th annual Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival will run Friday through June 16.The festival is free and presents art attractions from Point State Park through Gateway Center and into the Cultural District.Headline concerts on the Dollar Bank Stage begin at 7:30 p.m. in Point State Park. PITTSBURGH — Carnegie Museum of Natural History will host “Roads of Arabia: Archaeology and History of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia” from June 22 through Nov. 3 at the museum at 4400 Forbes Ave.“Roads of Arabia” examines the impact of ancient trade routes that fueled the exchange of both objects and ideas.The exhibit assembles more than 200 recently excavated objects, none of which had been seen outside of Saudi Arabia until 2010.
