Pauline Emma Burns
Pauline Emma Burns, 93, of The Arbors in Valencia, formerly of Prospect, passed away Saturday at her home.
Born Aug. 20, 1920, in Mars, she was the daughter of Paul and Bessie Lyford McWilliams.
She was a graduate of the Mars School District.
Pauline was a homemaker and worked at Mine Safety Appliances during World War II.
She was a Jehovah's Witness and a member of the Butler/Aliquippa Congregation.
Survivors include her two sons, Raymond (Diane) Burns of Prospect and Roger (Nancy) Burns of Vanport; her five grandchildren; her four great-grandchildren; her sister, Flora Dally of Evans City, and her brother, Richard McWilliams of Marienville.
Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Burns, who she married Aug. 3, 1939, and who died in April 1990; her three sisters, Dorothy, Helen and Frances; and her two brothers, Franklin and Wendell.
Burns— There will be no public visitation for Pauline Emma Burns, who passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014. Burial will be private in the Mars Cemetery.Arrangements are in the care of Jay Bryan Funeral Home, Prospect.
