Judith Ann Bailey Bello
Judith Ann Bailey Bello formerly of Butler, passed away peacefully Jan. 15, 2016, in Kettering, Ohio.
Born July 10, 1942, in Butler, she was the daughter of the late Lester G. and Audrey E. Huselton Baily.
Judy was a 1960 graduate of Butler High School and a 1963 graduate of Butler Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. She spent her career as a registered nurse working with those in need of assisted living. She was well-loved by the patients and families she served.
Judy was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Butler. She was an avid football fan, both professional and collegiate, and never missed watching her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. She enjoyed listening to the music of the 1950s and 1960s, especially the recordings of Elvis Presley. She spent her leisure time crocheting afghans and gifted many to family and friends.
Judy is survived by her daughter, Lisa of Kettering, Ohio; her son, Todd of Canton, Mich.; her friend and former spouse, Michael Bello of St. Paris, Ohio; several cousins and lifelong friends in the Butler area.
BELLO — According to her wishes, her body was donated to the Wright State University School of Medicine for medical education.A memorial service to celebrate her life will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the mausoleum at Greenlawn Cemetery, Mount Chestnut, with Ginger DiTullio, lay minister, presiding. Inurnment to follow.
