The Second Saturday Concert at Friendship Presbyterian Church, 886 New Castle Road in Slippery Rock will welcome the Basement Band Aug.13.

Vocalist Sandy McConnell and guitarist Greg Vanderveen will perform a concert of country, folk, oldies and rock-n-roll music.

A free-will offering will be received.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with complimentary snacks and beverages. The music begins at 7 p.m.
