Aristov and Company, The Family Variety Circus Show, will perform Aug. 10 to 15 at the Butler Farm Show.

Igor Aristov was born in the Russian city Chelyabinsk. At age 7, he started training in gymnastics, and at age 12, he combined his training with tumbling.

He graduated from the Moscow State College of Circus Performing Art and toured with the Moscow State Circus as an acrobat in all the Soviet Republics, Europe, Southeast Asia, South America, Canada and the United States.

He met his wife Tatiana in Ukraine and created an acrobatics act and a juggling duo act.

Their son George started to practice circus skills at age 3, and he performs with the family in variety circus acts.

The company has performed at the Canadian National Exhibition and the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, both in Toronto; the Toronto International Circus Festival; Festival de Cirque Vaudreil-Dorion in Quebec; the Festival International Juzz de Montreal; and the Halifax International Busker Fest, among others.

Aristov and Company will be performing during the Farm Show at the free stage near the dairy barns at times to be announced.
