Time Capsule
POWERED UP — THE “Allectric,” an electric-powered auto built by West Penn Power, is demonstrated at the 1968 Butler Farm Show. The vehicle could travel up to 50 mph and go 50 miles without a battery charge. Driving the car is James Haught of West Penn Power with passengers Jilana Bauldoff, 12, of Meridian and Richard Kroll, 10, of Renfrew.
