Joyce F. Irwin Noel, 79, of the Under Our Wing Apartments on West Cunningham Street died early Sunday morning at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born in Pittsburgh, July 20, 1927, she was a daughter of William and Carrie Guiste Carey.

She was a homemaker and mother and had been a picker and packer at the Butler County Mushroom Farm in West Winfield for more than 11 years.

She had been a member of the McKee Chapel Methodist Church in Fenelton.

Surviving are four sons, Warren "Pete" (Angie) Irwin of St. Petersburg, Fla., Frank K. (Debbie) Irwin of Kittanning, James D. (Gayle) Irwin of Chicora and Bradley W. (Tracie) Irwin of Edinboro; and two daughters, Mary J. Irwin of Renfrew and Mrs. Michael (Kandace) Peters of New Castle. She also is survived by 14 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and nine step-great-grandchildren.

She was the widow of Warren W. Irwin, who died Sept. 29, 1970. She also was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Sutton.

<B>NOEL </B>— Friends of Joyce F. Irwin Noel, who died Sunday, March 25, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Revs. Steve and Mamie Ogle, pastors of the Community Life Church of Butler, officiating.
