Ronda Dee Pickett
Ronda Dee Pickett, 51, of Butler passed away Thursday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice surrounded by her family.
She was born on Sept. 14, 1961, the daughter of Ronald McPherson and Margaret (Sutton) McPherson.
Ronda was a 1979 graduate of Butler High School and a 1995 graduate of Butler County Community College. She was a self-employed massage therapist. Ronda enjoyed walking with her dog, Roxy, watching her grandchildren's activities, Bible studies, wine tours with friends and cherished her trip to Ireland.
She is survived by her husband, Dirk W. Pickett, who she married on Sept. 18, 1981; two daughters, Shanna Mohney and her husband, Scott, of Butler and Rebekah Shernisky and her husband, Louis, of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; three grandchildren, Brady Shuler, Scarlett Mohney and Stella Mohney, all of Butler; her parents, Ronald and Margaret McPherson of Butler; three sisters, Sandra Kriess and her husband, Fred, of Glendale, Ariz., Susan Voorhees and her husband, Hank, of Grove City and Mary Whitaker and her husband, Heskil, of Orange Park, Fla.; one brother, Timothy McPherson of Butler; one brother-in-law, Robert Pickett of Butler; brother and sister-in-law, Kevin Caparosa and his wife, Lynette, of Butler; her father and mother-in-law, Warren Pickett and his wife, Donna, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ralph and Eula McPherson and Samuel and Helen Sutton, as well as one infant brother.
PICKETT — Friends of Ronda Dee Pickett, who passed away Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013, will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E.
