Frank L. Morini

Frank L. Morini, 91, of Cranberry Township passed away Thursday at UPMC Passavant Hospital.

Born April 11, 1925, in Aliquippa, Pa., he was the son of the late Louis Morini and Maria Fortuna Morini.

Frank proudly served our country during World War II in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of St. Ferdinand Catholic Church in Cranberry Township.

Frank also was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Baden and the American Legion. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sons, Frank L. Morini Jr. of New Castle, Del., George A. Morini of Baden and Joseph (Marissa) Morini of Allentown, N.J.; his daughter, Patricia A. (Kenny) Sutton of South Carolina; his sisters, Louise Fiorini of Delray Beach, Fla., and Lena Smith of Midland, Pa.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary; his second wife, Carol Joy; and his sisters, Angie Santia, Mary Helse and Ida Valteri.

MORINI — Friends of Frank L. Morini, who died Thursday, March 23, 2017, will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Boylan-Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, 2535 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township.

Frank will be laid to rest with military honors at Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church Cemetery in Ambridge.
