Alma Faye Polum
Alma Faye Polum, 71, of Butler passed away Tuesday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
She was born March 18, 1947, in West Sunbury to the late Emmett Brewster and the late Sara Sutton Brewster.
Alma and her husband were members of the Loyal Order of Moose 64, Butler Elks Lodge 170 and the American Legion 117 of Butler.
Alma is survived by her husband, Tommie, whom she married May 25, 1995; two daughters, Carla (Tim) Grossman of Waynesburg, Ohio, and Lynda (Ray) Young of New Castle; one son, Charles (Debbie) Lamoreaux Jr. of Blacksburg, Va.; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ruth (Melvin) Grossman, Doris (Sam) Grossman and Illa Hortert; two brothers, Charlie (Susan) Brewster and John (Mary) Brewster; a number of nieces and nephews; and her close friends, John Harbison and daughter Maddy.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Kevin Lamoreaux; and one brother-in-law, Terry Hortert.
