John W. Schulties

John W. Schulties, 75, of Harrisville died at 6:09 p.m. Thursday at the Good Samaritan Hospice, Wexford.

A son of the late Clarence and Geraldine Reinhart Schulties, he was born Aug. 6, 1940, in Pittsburgh.

He was employed by the Plumbers Union Local 27.

A family man, he enjoyed the outdoors, particularly birdwatching.

On July 27, 1971, he married the former Diane M. Putt. She died May 9, 2008.

Surviving are three children, Dawn (Marc) Mushnok of Pittsburgh, John R. (Kerri) Schulties of Natrona Heights and James D. Schulties of McKean; eight grandchildren, Robert Schulties, Ashley Singer, Amanda, Brett and Madison Mushnok and Samantha, Alyssa and Sierra Schulties; six great-grandchildren; and her brother, James D. Schulties of Harrisville.

SCHULTIES — Friends of John W. Schulties, who died Thursday, March 3, 2016, will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the Jamison Funeral Home, 117 N. Main St., Harrisville and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Barkeyville United Methodist Church, where services will be at 11 a.m. with the Rev.
