Burneice Armstrong

Burneice R. Armstrong, 90, of Cranberry Township passed away Thursday with her loving family by her side while under the care of Good Samaritan Hospice in Wexford.

Born March 21, 1925, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Emmalew (Branditz) Heinen.

Burneice worked as a baker at Giant Eagle.

While she was hardworking, her children and family always came first. She greatly enjoyed the time she spent with them.

Burneice will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Joseph A. Armstrong III of Cranberry Township, Beverly A. (Russell) Dudek of Evans City, Sandra (Robert A. Jr.) Hankey of Arizona and Dennis D. (Kathy Pecora) Armstrong of Florida; her sister, Patricia (Robert) Tew of Cranberry Township; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Burneice was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Armstrong, Sr.; her sister, Dorothy Demore; and her brother, Eugene Heinen.

ARMSTRONG — The family of Burneice R. Armstrong, who died Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015, will welcome friends and family from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Boylan Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township.A funeral ceremony will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dan Aluise officiating.If desired, memorial donations may be made in Burneice's honor to Good Samaritan Hospice, 3500 Brooktree Road, Suite 320, Wexford, PA 15090.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
